01 / What we do

What we install

Gardens work harder than ever — office, gym, spa, cinema under the stars. We bring safe, properly specified power to all of it, from a single weatherproof socket to a fully designed lighting scheme.

  • Garden lighting design

Layered, warm lighting for patios, pergolas, paths and facades — planned with you, on site, before a single cable is run.

  • Outdoor sockets & power

IP-rated weatherproof sockets exactly where you need them, all on RCD-protected circuits.

  • Supplies to outbuildings

Buried armoured SWA runs and dedicated circuits for garden offices, workshops, hot tubs and swim spas.

  • Ponds & water features

Safe, discreet power for pumps, filters and feature lighting — where water and electricity are involved, spec matters.

One team for everything outside the back door — designed, installed and certified by the same friendly electricians.

Garden lighting

Warm, layered lighting for patios, pergolas, paths and facades — designed to flatter the garden, not floodlight it.

Outdoor sockets

Weatherproof IP-rated sockets where you actually need them — mowers, tools, pressure washers and party lights.

Garden offices & outbuildings

Dedicated armoured supplies with their own small consumer unit — proper power for desks, heating and Wi-Fi.

Hot tubs & swim spas

Dedicated RCD-protected circuits with an IP-rated isolator, designed to the manufacturer's specification.

Security lighting

Well-placed, sensor-driven lighting that deters the visitors you don't want and welcomes the ones you do.

EV-ready driveways

Planning a charger too? We install Zappi, Easee One and Andersen chargers among others — see our EV charger installation page.

Safety & certification

Outdoor electrics fail when corners get cut underground. Ours don't — every run is specified, protected and certified so it keeps working through every British winter.

  • Buried armoured cable, done to spec

SWA cable at the correct depth, with warning tape and ducting where needed — never bell wire under a flowerbed.

  • Dedicated circuits from the board

Garden offices, hot tubs and outbuildings get their own circuit, so the house supply is never strained.

  • RCD protection throughout

Every outdoor circuit is RCD-protected — power cuts instantly if anything goes wrong.

  • Tested, certified & notified

Notifiable work is certified and notified to Building Control under Part P through our NAPIT registration.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Outdoor circuits must be RCD-protected so the power cuts instantly if anything goes wrong, and every fitting we install is IP-rated for the weather — IP65 or better where it's exposed. We'll specify the right protection for each location.

We run steel wire armoured (SWA) cable from your consumer unit to the building — buried at the correct depth or clipped along a suitable route — and finish with a small consumer unit, sockets and lighting inside. It's a dedicated circuit, so heaters and computers won't trouble the house supply.

Yes. Hot tubs need their own dedicated circuit with RCD protection and an IP-rated rotary isolator within reach of the tub. Tell us the make and model and we'll design the supply to the manufacturer's specification.

We do. We'll walk the garden with you, work out what deserves highlighting — paths, planting, pergolas, the facade — and design a scheme that looks beautiful at night without dazzling the neighbours. Then we install it neatly and certify it.

Not with ordinary cable. Outdoor runs need the right cable for the job — usually SWA — either buried at a safe depth with warning tape or properly clipped and protected. It's the part of the job you'll never see, so we make sure it's done to spec.

Most of it, yes. New outdoor circuits are notifiable under Part P, so we test everything, issue your certificate and notify Building Control through our NAPIT registration — it's all included.
