Not at all. Most of our AV work is in everyday living spaces — media walls, lounge surround sound and discreet in-ceiling speakers. A dedicated cinema room is wonderful if you have the space, but a well-designed media wall can transform a normal lounge.

In almost every case, yes. As electricians first, we chase cables into walls, route them through voids and plan containment properly — it's the core of what we do. The easiest time to hide everything is during a renovation or rewire, but we have neat retrofit solutions for finished rooms too, and we'll always be upfront about what's achievable before we start.

Quite the opposite — that's usually why people choose them. Modern in-ceiling and in-wall speakers sit flush with the surface behind slim grilles that can be painted to match, so the music is there and the speakers effectively disappear.

Yes. We programme your TV, projector, amplifier, streaming sources and speakers to work from a single remote or app — and where we've installed smart lighting, a 'cinema mode' scene can dim the lights at the same time. No more juggling four remotes to watch a film.

Either. We can design and supply a complete system to suit your room and budget, or build around equipment you already own where it's up to the job — we'll give you an honest opinion on what's worth keeping.

Once everything is installed, we set up and fine-tune the system to the room — speaker levels and distances, picture settings, and the acoustics of the space — so it performs the way the manufacturer intended rather than straight out of the box.

Yes — we install weatherproof outdoor speakers and screens for gardens, patios and garden rooms, wired safely with properly rated outdoor cabling and connections, and tied into the same multi-room system as the rest of the house.

Our own team, from start to finish. The same NAPIT-registered electricians who plan the containment and run the first-fix cabling come back to mount the screen, fit the speakers, set up the sources and calibrate the room. There's no hand-off to a separate AV firm, so you have one point of contact and one 12-month labour warranty.

A home theatre is a room given over to films — a projector or large screen, surround sound, blackout and seating planned around the screen. A media room works harder: a snug or family room where the TV, games and music share the space with everyday life, often built around a media wall. We design and install both, with the wiring planned into the walls and out of sight.
