Recordings are saved to a network video recorder (NVR) at your property, and retention depends on the hard drive size, the number of cameras and the recording resolution. As a general rule, most systems hold a few weeks of footage before the oldest recordings are overwritten — we'll size the storage around how long you want to keep yours.

Yes. Every system we install includes remote viewing through a secure app, so you can check live footage, review recordings and receive motion alerts from anywhere with an internet connection. We set the app up on your devices and show you how everything works before we leave.

For most home systems, cameras that only cover your own property raise no issues. If a camera captures areas beyond your boundary — a neighbour's garden or the street — UK data-protection rules can apply, so we site cameras carefully, angle them to minimise overlooking and can use privacy masking where needed. For businesses, clear signage and a sensible retention policy are part of a GDPR-aware setup, and we'll advise on both.

Yes. The cameras we fit include infrared night vision as standard, and many models can capture full-colour footage at night too. Combined with motion detection, your property is watched in daylight, at dusk and in complete darkness.
